Due to the phenomenal success of last year’s event, Yorkhill Children’s Foundation is proud to announce the return of their annual family Christmas Concert. The beautiful venue of the City Chambers will once again be filled with cheer from musical and dance performances to capture the true spirit of Christmas. The concert takes place on Friday 30th November 2012 at 7:30pm and features a host of fantastic performers including Hillhead Primary School Choir, Choral Stimulation, Glasgow singer Stephen James, Katrina Muir who was a finalist of Glasgow’s Star Turn as well as the fantastic Kirkintilloch Male Voice Choir who are returning for a second year by popular demand, plus many more! This year’s concert will also be hosted by the hilarious Mark Cox and Jane McCarry, better known as Still Game’s ‘Tam and Isa’.

The City Chambers at George Square is a beacon of festivities during Christmas time, and is only a stones throw away from Yorkhill Hospital. On the upper floor of the City Chambers we will also host a Christmas marketplace, which will be bigger and better, giving people the opportunity to purchase their key Christmas items including Christmas cards, calendars, jewellery, children’s toys and lots of other gift items. There will also be a raffle, tomobola and much more to get involved with throughout the evening.
